Technical information

Our website server may, in the ordinary course of operating the site, process technical information such as IP address, browser/request information and timestamps as part of standard server logs. We do not use cookies, analytics tools or tracking technologies to profile visitors on this website.

C. How we use information

We use the personal information described above for purposes that may include:

• responding to enquiries;
• communicating about requested services or opportunities;

• considering candidates for the position applied for;
• where separately agreed, considering candidates for suitable future opportunities;

D. Basis for processing

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Mashvera processes personal information where necessary to:

E. Recruitment and future opportunities

We distinguish between two separate activities:

• processing an application for the specific role a candidate has selected; and
• retaining and using a candidate's profile to consider them for unrelated future opportunities.

Candidates may separately choose whether Mashvera may retain their profile and contact them about suitable future opportunities. This future-opportunity consent is optional and is never a condition of applying for a current vacancy — an application for a specific role is processed the same way whether or not this separate consent is given.

F. Sharing of information

Personal information may be accessible to authorized Mashvera personnel involved in the relevant enquiry, recruitment or business process, and to service providers necessary to operate our business systems (for example, email delivery). We do not currently share candidate CVs with clients as a routine matter. If a future business need requires sharing candidate information with a customer or other third party, this would be handled transparently and appropriately at that time, rather than being silently authorized by this notice. Mashvera does not sell personal information.

G. International processing

Because enquiries and candidates may originate from different countries, personal information may be processed or accessed in countries other than the individual's own country where our business operations or service providers require it. Where applicable, we seek to use measures appropriate to the circumstances in accordance with relevant requirements.

H. Security

We take reasonable organizational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

I. Data retention

Recruitment. Applications and candidate profiles may generally be retained for up to 12 months, subject to applicable legal requirements. Where a candidate has provided separate consent for future-opportunity consideration, their profile may be retained and used for that purpose for up to 12 months from the date of consent.

Successful candidates. Where an application leads to an employment, contractor or other engagement relationship, relevant information may become part of the appropriate employment or engagement records and be retained according to that relationship and applicable legal requirements.

Contact/business enquiries. Enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose of the interaction and legitimate business or legal record requirements. Where an enquiry develops into an ongoing business relationship, information may be retained as part of those business records.

J. Individual requests / rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights or options concerning their personal information, which may include the ability to:

• request access to their personal information;
• request correction of their personal information;
• request deletion of their personal information;
• withdraw consent, where processing relies on consent; and
• object to or request restriction of certain processing, where applicable.
